Canceled: Bike Tour of Golden Gate Park’s Public Art

Saturday, April 4, 2020 @ 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm

FREE

Due to the coronavirus, the April 4 Golden Gate Park 150th Anniversary Celebration will be rescheduled for a date later this year. Read the full statement from San Francisco Recreation & Parks here.

When the new date for the celebration is selected, we will reschedule this bike tour.

Celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Golden Gate Park with a bike tour of public art.

Join the San Francisco Arts Commission and the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition for a bike tour of Golden Gate Park’s public art. This leisurely-paced 2.5 mile bike ride will highlight seven pieces of art scattered throughout the park (map here). Learn the history behind each piece of art and discover something new!

The tour will start in front of the Conservatory of Flowers next to the Rose des Vents sculpture:

The tour will end at the Cabrillo playground on 38th Ave (at Cabrillo).

All riders are responsible for providing their own bicycle.
