Deliver burritos by bicycle with Burrito Project SF.
Burrito Project SF is a community-supported group that gets together to make and deliver burritos to the community in hunger or living on the street. They are 100% organized by volunteers and are passionate about bringing people together to make a difference. 100% of donations go towards purchasing ingredients and supplies to make and deliver food. Their events take place on the last Monday of every month unless otherwise posted.
- Event Overview – Each event takes three hours from start to finish. A sign up sheet for volunteer shifts is sent via the email list and posted on Facebook one week prior to their events.
- Volunteers – Volunteers of all ages are welcome but they ask that anyone under 18 come with a parent or guardian. Please register for a volunteer shift before the event.
- What to Bring – All volunteers should wear comfortable, close-toed shoes. Gloves and aprons are provided. Delivery volunteers please bring a bag that can hold up to 20 burritos. Delivery volunteers can deliver burritos either by walking or by biking.
