Let’s Talk: Intersectional Feminism and Biking
Wednesday, January 24, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Join Women Bike SF for a special panel discussion on Wednesday, Jan. 24 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. This panel will be moderated by Katie Styer, host of the Oakland Bikes! radio program, and will feature a panel of inspiring, trailblazing women. In this event, we’ll be discussing the parallel paths of intersectional feminism and biking. We’ll explore the barriers often faced by female -identifying or gender- nonconforming people who want to bike. Kids are welcome; light snacks and beverages will be provided. After the event we will be going to Odd Job, a casual bar close by, to meet one another and continue the conversation. For more information, go to sfbike.org/women

Drop off your bike between 5:45 – 6:00 pm and pick it up after the event between 8:00 – 8:15 pm. Our office is located at 1720 Market Street, just two blocks away from the venue. A group will walk together from the office to the venue at 6:00pm sharp. Bike Link also offers secure bicycle parking options at select locations around Market Street.
