From exploratory day rides\, to weekend over-nighters\, to multi-week tours\, the Norcal Bicycle Touring Meetup is the place to meet others and get plans rolling. This is also a great place to exchange bicycle touring tips\, knowledge\, and tales from the road. \nAt the beginning of the new year\, we like to get together to introduce the group to newbies and brainstorm some touring ideas for the upcoming year. \nAGENDA\n6:00-6:30pm mingle\, socialize\n6:30-7:00pm presentation – about\, expectations for participants\, how to lead a ride\n7:00-7:30pm brainstorm ride ideas\n7:30-8:00pm socialize\, compare maps\, etc. \nSports Basement will provide light snacks & drinks. DESCRIPTION:For the first time ever\, the @ciclismoclassico Bike Travel Film Festival will visit the Sports Basement Berkeley next Thursday\, 10/17. The festival is a celebration of travel and human-powered adventure on wheels\, and it is the only event of its type in the world. Proceeds from the event benefit the Street Level Cycles. Ciclismo is generously raffling a $2500 voucher which can be applied to a specific Italian bike trip that Ciclismo will designate. Each admission ticket includes one raffle ticket. One winner will be chosen at the film screening intermission and must be present to win. \nRSVP
