Ride with Respect

With our amazing member-volunteers, we distributed hundreds of bike bells and spread the word on how people can respectfully share our streets and public spaces.

We know that the majority of people biking in San Francisco ride respectfully. Unfortunately, it’s often the scofflaw cyclists who are noticed most.

Ring with Respect

Riding with respect includes following the rules of the road, yielding to people walking and communicating your presence using your voice or (ding-ding!) a bike bell. As part of our Ride with Respect stations, we distribute hundreds of bike bells while sharing information about the rules of the road. To get a bell, all you have to do is stop by a station and sign a pledge to use the bell courteously and follow the rules of the road.

Thank you to our Ride with Respect sponsors:
