*This event is organized by People Protected Bike Lane
On Wednesday, Nov. 1, we will join hands and make a statement on the Embarcadero bike lane. Plans for a projected bike lane on the Embarcadero have been delayed for years. Meanwhile the bike lane is constantly used as a double parking & loading zone. Families & commuters who use this lane are forced into fast moving car traffic.
We will form a People Protected bike lane between 5:00 – 6:30pm on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at the Ferry Building. Please join us for any part of this time window to contribute to what may be our largest people chain yet!
