Event Navigation

This year for Filipino-American History Month, join us for an ethno-tour on bike of San Francisco’s very own Filipino cultural district, SoMa Pilipinas, on Friday, October 17.
- 4 – 4:30pm: Meet at the YBCA to view SoMa Pilipinas’ exhibition MAKIBAKA: A Living Legacy. Participants get free admission! If you cannot join us for the exhibit, meet us at the YBCA at 4:30 to start the ride.
- 4:30 – 5:30pm: Bike ride begins promptly at 4:30. We’ll stop at four historical sites in SoMa along our way.
We’ll end our ride at Standard Deviant Brewing Pier 70 for food and beverages! We expect to arrive around 6 or earlier.
The bike ride will be a casual, no-drop ride with low-elevation change, approximately 4.7 miles total. Bring your own bike, lights, water, and bike lock! See the route here.
The first 50 RSVPs will receive limited prints of the “Frisco Rise” mural from Clarion Alley Mural Project donated by Poster Syndicate.
