Bike Class & Firefighter Family Ride
Saturday, October 18 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

Ride with the San Francisco Fire Department in Golden Gate Park
Join SFFD, SF Safe Routes to School, and the SF Bicycle Coalition for a fun, low-stress family bike ride through one of the city’s most beautiful routes. Whether you’re new to biking or just looking for a great weekend outing, this event is a chance to build confidence, enjoy the park, and connect with other families.
We’ll start with a drop-in bike skills class at 8:30am at the Panhandle Blacktop (Fell/Ashbury). Then at 10:30am we’ll ride together to JFK Promenade. Stick around after the ride for hands-on fun with a real vintage fire engine.
When: Saturday, October 18, 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Where: Panhandle Park Blacktop (Fell & Ashbury) to JFK Promenade (Whales Tail)
Who: Families, kids, caregivers and all ages and abilities welcome
Price: Free
Come for the ride, stay for the fire truck. It’s free, it’s fun, and it’s one of the best ways to spend a Saturday in the city!
