Through our partnership with the San Francisco International Arts Festival (SFIAF), SFBike members are invited to join us for an Art & Climate Ride with performance artist Mykalle Bielinski, along San Francisco’s iconic waterfront. Starting at Cupid’s Span, we’ll ride 4.5 miles, with stops along the way to discuss climate resiliency and the waterfront, the power of art to inform and transform our understanding of the built and natural environment. The ride ends at the Wave Organ.

Before the ride, attend the U.S. premiere of Mykalle Bielinski’s “Warm Up,” with performances from Thursday May 2, through Saturday May 4, 2024. Using a bicycle to generate the electricity that powers the lights and sound of her performance, Mykalle questions humankind’s relationship with nature through the lens of over consumption by rethinking the act of making art.
