The goal is for riders of moderate+ abilities to bike this route. Since this will involve riding on city streets, moderate hills, and uneven surfaces, we will ask that you judge your and your guests ability on whether the entire ride, or parts of the ride are appropriate for them. For younger kids, we’d encourage you to have them on your bikes, and for stronger riders (10 year old+) as long as you as their parent feel comfortable with the route, they are welcome to ride along side you. Note that once we’re in the Candlestick State Park, that is car free and kids can ride their own bikes/scooters on the mostly paved paths.

The starting point is Balboa BART outside of Maccu Pichu Cafe. The end point is the picnic area near the fishing pier at Candlestick Point State Recreation Area in Bayview.  Map of the route can be found here:
