In October, City planners announced major revisions to Better Market Street, the decade-long project to transform our city’s most important corridor that was approved in 2019. We acknowledge new constraints and budget realities, but we believe that City planners can and must do better to meet the original project goals of improving safety, comfort and mobility for people who bike, walk and ride transit.
Your San Francisco Bicycle Coalition has turned out our members to engage in the outreach process over the past few months, and now, we’re approaching a decision point.
