Roaming Zen is a series that takes your meditation off the cushion and into the great outdoors in all parts of San Francisco. While most of them are done on foot, occasionally we do versions on two wheels.

On Saturday September 23rd, we will take a leisurely pedal south along the Embarcadero and Mission Bay, taking in San Francisco’s industrial maritime heritage alongside its newest developments, and visiting a beautiful nature reserve on the way. This is a very flat route, mostly on quiet and car-free roads, with a short distance of gravel paths. We will stop to meditate a number of times en route.

Meet at the Cupid’s Bow sculpture on the Embarcadero path, between the Ferry Building and the Bay Bridge. Please be punctual, and bring water, snacks, a lock, and basic tools if you have them.
