Bicycle Tour of the Bay Trail: WWII Opportunities for Women*
Saturday, September 1, 2018 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
The Richmond shoreline and Bay Trail provide beautiful views of the San Francisco Bay for all levels of cyclists. But it’s not just a pretty view–there’s plenty of exciting history too! Join SF Bicycle Coalition member Catherine Orland for a Park Ranger-led bicycle tour of the Bay Trail. Bring plenty of water, warm layers for wind, and a portable snack. No rider left behind, all ability levels welcome. This will be a slow-paced ride with frequent stops and plenty of opportunities to observe and discuss points of interest.
Length: 2 hours, about 4 miles. Meet at the Eucalyptus tree outside the Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park Visitor Center. (Rain cancels). Please call if you plan to bring more than 5 people. Please call (510) 232-5050 x0.
