Bike Rodeo at Monroe Elementary

Saturday, June 14 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

FREE

Join us at Monroe Elementary for a Bike Rodeo that caters to all ages and skill levels! This fun family event will feature multiple activities, including:

  • A Freedom From Training Wheels activity for children between the ages of 2-5 years of age to practice riding without having to rely on training wheels. This fun activity is designed to help kids learn how to balance a two-wheeled bike and work towards pedaling! A parent must stay with the participant for the duration of their involvement. More info here.
  • On-Bike Practice For  Beginning Adult Cyclists. This is a great opportunity for adult cyclists to work on developing balancing and basic bike riding skills — no prior experience needed! The class concludes with an option group ride to practice riding on low-traffic streets. More info here.
  • Free helmets! We will be distributing free helmets for folks who need one. Sizes/colors are limited and we will be handing them out until we run out! Safety is important, come by and snag free protection for your noggin while supplies last!
  • Bicycle fun for the whole family!
