The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition and Young Professionals in Transportation are joining forces to go on a 4.5 mile ride to practice commuting by bike. We’ll start at the steps of City Hall on Polk St. at 6pm and will push off by 6:15pm. The ride will be at a relaxed pace and no one will be left behind.

The route will take riders on commonly biked streets including Market St., “The Wiggle”, Page St., the new protected bike lanes on 8th. and Howard St. San Francisco Bicycle Coalition’s Community Organizer Julia Raskin will be onsite to point out upcoming infrastructure projects. Click here for the route map.

We’ll end the ride at SoMa Streetfood Park where riders can stay and grab a drink or a bite to eat, if they’d like.
