Join Ben Brydon, Randall Jacobs, and Alice Liu for a joint celebration for the new CIVIC+Sprocket bike shop and mobile bike repair, and the launch of THESIS, a new type of high-end bicycle company.

After months of hard work, we’re looking forward to celebrating with our friends, families, and communities. It’s going to be a great evening of drinks, food, beats by PnC, and some of our favorite people.

We’d love to have you join us to celebrate this exciting moment. Bring all your cyclist friends and bike-curious friends.

Let’s have a party.

///// Know any bike mechanics? We want to talk to you. /////

CIVIC+Sprocket is hiring professional mechanics, and THESIS is announcing their unique partner program for independent mechanics, fitters, and shops. Join us to learn more about growing with us.

///// About CIVIC+Sprocket /////

CIVIC+Sprocket offers a new take on bicycle service and retail: a brick-and-mortar shop that you can visit anytime or will come to you!!

With a service-focused model CIVIC+Sprocket wants to keep your bike running longer, safer and with better performance! Both our physical location and our mobile unit are armed with a full assortment of parts, inventory and accessories. Though-our location has a thoughtful selection of bikes, and a broad range of options ready to order and customize. We want to work with you to find the perfect bike for your unique body and needs rather than push what we happen to have on the floor.

Not able to visit us? Our mobile unit is now available to book 7 days a week – servicing throughout the Bay Area (and beyond) to make it easy to keep your bike (or fleet of bikes) in top form!

We are also an equal opportunity employer that hires the most skilled mechanics and aims to pay them as the professionals they are.

///// About THESIS /////

THESIS is a new type of bicycle company. Through our factory-direct model and partnerships with the industry’s top manufacturers, we’ve created a high-end carbon bike with carbon wheels and a premium spec for the revolutionary price of $2999 and made it fully configurable to your particular body, terrain, and style. Build your dream bike.

THESIS is the brainchild of industry veteran Randall R. Jacobs, a former pro cyclist, product developer at Specialized, serial entrepreneur, and professional mechanic. Together with Alice S. Liu, a mission-driven entrepreneur, THESIS is tackling some of the bike industry’s biggerst challenges through an approach of evidence-based thinking, integrity, and radical inclusion.

The OB1 has been featured on Bikerumor, BikeRadar, CyclingTips, The Gravel Ride Podcast, Road Bike Rider, and many others. Come check out the OB1 for yourself and learn more about what we’re building at THESIS. https://thesis.bike.
