Community Organizing Bootcamp

Saturday, October 20, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

People power drives our work. From victories on Folsom to change on Upper Market, seeing our members mobilizing and winning campaigns is what fuels the changes that we need to see on San Francisco streets.

Building off of our past community organizing workshops, we’ve developed a day-long workshop which will give you the full set of skills necessary to become a member champion in our campaigns and even take on your own bike infrastructure issues.

Through case studies and interactive activities, we will equip you with the tools to make change in your community and be an engaged San Franciscan, whether you’ve been active for years or are just getting started. Throughout the day we’ll go over: issue identification, power-mapping, campaign strategy and tactics.

Join us on Saturday October 20 from 10:00am to 4:00 pm at 1566 Howard St. to build your capacity as an organizer. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
