Are you looking for opportunities to get involved with bicycle advocacy? Do you live in or frequent District 2 (Marina, Cow Hollow, Pacific Heights, Presidio, Presidio Heights)? Join us for a bike ride and a brainstorming session on Saturday September 27 to determine bike infrastructure priorities for the district and strategize on how we can achieve them. 

The bike ride will begin at 11am (roll out ~11:10) starting at Inspiration Point (near the Arguello Gate). This is a no-drop, slow ride with stops to discuss the bicycle infrastructure we’re riding on. The route is mostly flat with one big downhill. Around noon we’ll head to NEON coworking space on Union St to brainstorm and strategize. Snacks will be provided. Bring your ideas for new infrastructure, safer streets, community spaces, and more!

We’re partnering with Northern Neighbors to bring you a chance to advocate for the future of biking in District 2. We have a new district supervisor who is eager to support bicycle infrastructure and safe street improvements on top of a Biking and Rolling Plan that was approved earlier this year. We need to take advantage of this opportunity and motivate the SFMTA and the Supervisor to move forward with ambitious improvements to biking and rolling in the Marina, Cow Hollow, Pacific Heights and the rest of District 2.
