Off-Road Cycling Ride: Golden Gate Park Pilot Project*

Sunday, April 14, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

The Golden Gate Park Multi-use Trail Pilot Program is an official recognition of riding bikes on trails in Golden Gate Park by the Recreation and Park department. Let’s ride on the trails which are part of the pilot, and talk about the history of riding in the park. Bring a bike (wide tires are best, but any bike will do) and stories if you have them.

We’ll start at the McKinley Monument in the Panhandle and ride to the beach, then back into the center of the park in time for lunch outside. Ride will be approximately 10 miles and two hours with minimal hills, mixed road, paved trails, and dirt trails. Optional extension after.

More info on the pilot here.
