On-Bike Practice for Beginning Adult Cyclists

Sunday, April 7 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

This class is in English and Chinese.

Join us for this on-bike class at Arguello Extension! This is a great class for those who are looking to get more comfortable balancing, pedaling, turning, and shifting gears before they head out onto the streets. The class will be on-bike, and the majority of the class will be off-street, in a car-free space. There will be an optional, short on-street ride towards the end of the class.

At this time, this class is limited to people 18 years old and above.

All participants MUST either bring a bike or rent a bike in advance. Bikes will not be available for rental at the class. If you don’t have a bicycle, we will send information on how to rent one for the class. If the cost of a bike rental (about $25) is a challenge for you, please email cecilia@sfbike.org, as we have some limited funding available for rentals.

Please contact Cecilia Vega-Mayer (cecilia@sfbike.org or ‪415-236-3869) with any questions about this program.

This class is part of the SFMTA’s Bicycle Safety Education program, presented in partnership with the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition. It is made possible by the San Francisco County Transportation Authority through a grant of Proposition K Local Transportation Sales Tax Funds.
