On-Bike Practice for Beginning Adult Cyclists
Wednesday, October 15 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Join us for this on-bike class at SF State University! This is a great class for those who are looking to get more comfortable balancing, pedaling, turning, and shifting gears before they head out onto the streets. The class will start in the classroom and we will go over traffic safety best practices. There will be an optional, short on-street ride towards the end of the class.
Students 18 and under are welcome, but a parent or guardian must be present for the duration of the class.
All participants MUST either bring a bike or rent a bike in advance. Bikes will not be available for rental at the class. If you don’t have a bicycle, we will send information on how to rent one for the class.
Please contact Qamuuqin Maxwell (qmaxwell@sfbike.org) to register for this class.

This class is part of the SFMTA’s Bicycle Safety Education program, presented in partnership with the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition. It is made possible by the San Francisco County Transportation Authority through a grant of Proposition L Local Transportation Sales Tax Funds.
