If you’re new to SF or new to bike commuting, this ride is the the perfect opportunity to practice biking on Market St. This isn’t a class, but rather a fun practice ride for people to get comfortable with city riding.

We’ll meet in front of the California Academy of Sciences and bike slowly and carefully all the way to the Ferry Building (about 5 miles). You’ll gain practice riding on:

• The Panhandle
• The “Wiggle”
• Market Street

After the ride, we’ll grab an ice cream or coffee together to toast to our accomplishment and chat with our fellow riders.

If you aren’t ready to bike to the starting location by yourself or to return home on bicycle, you can always place your bike on the bus – we have a video to show you how!
