Streetside Outreach: Ride with Respect

Thursday, September 28, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition is proud to present Ride with Respect, a bike bell distribution campaign!

With our amazing member-volunteers, we’ll distribute hundreds of bike bells and spread the word on how people can respectfully share our streets and public spaces. For people who bike, riding with respect includes following the rules of the road, yielding to people walking and communicating your presence using your voice or (ding-ding!) a bike bell. To ensure that the bike bells go to people who need them most, we keep the distribution location a secret.

SF Bicycle Coalition members can sign up to volunteer on our website. Please note that Ride with Respect is a members-only volunteering opportunity. Not a member? Join today!

The bike bells for this event are provided by LaneSpotter, a new app that aims to help people who bike find the safest route from point a to point b. Huge thanks to our sponsors, LaneSpotter and Recology, for getting this campaign off the ground!
