Bay Area public transit services, including BART, Muni, and Caltrain, are facing a huge financial deficit and need your help this year to save them.
Join SFBike, Connect Bay Area, and Stronger Muni for All on Wednesday, April 1 in the evening to learn about the two transit funding measures that can close the deficit and how you can get involved to support them. Both measures are currently gathering signatures to get on the November ballot and the campaigns need more volunteers to collect signatures and spread the word.
70% of Bay Area residents take public transportation and almost 1 million transit trips are made in the Bay Area everyday. Public transit is essential to San Francisco’s quality of life, economic recovery, environmental health, and social wellbeing – and we are at risk of losing it. As people who ride bikes in the Bay Area, this is our fight too, because a transit-friendly city is a bike-friendly city. We need as much help as we can get.
Come learn about the transit funding measures, get involved, and save Bay Area transit!
