Scooter Safety Skills – JFK Anniversary Celebration

This free drop-in workshop gives participants an overview of the basic skills needed for riding a scooter safely and confidently. Whether you’re new to riding electric scooters or just need to practice – this drop-in opportunity will help you get started scootin’ around safely! Come by and try one out.

The location for this class is just off the JFK Promenade and is adjacent to the Conservatory of Flowers. See Google Map link here.

  • Balancing 
  • Starting
  • Stopping
  •  Steering a scooter
  • . . . and other essential skills!

A personal scooter is not required to attend this workshop — scooters will be available to use at the class. 

  

This class is part of the SFMTA’s Scooter Safety Education program, presented in partnership with the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition. It is made possible by the San Francisco County Transportation Authority through a grant of Proposition L Local Transportation Sales Tax Funds. Scooters for this class are made possible through a partnership with SPIN Scooters.
