Smart City Cycling with ASL-interpreter*

Wednesday, September 9, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Come and learn everything from lane positioning to gear ratios. We’ll cover basic rules of the road, how to equip your bike, fit your helmet properly, avoid bike theft, ride after dark, and prevent common crashes. Not sure how to ride through an intersection? Curious about riding two abreast? Our nationally certified instructors are walking bicycle-encyclopedias and can answer any question you might have. We guarantee you’ll come away having benefited whether you are an expert or a novice bicyclist. This course uses slide illustrations, street diagrams, and video clips to communicate a general overview of cycling in Sonoma County.

The Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition is offering this class FREE as part of  Bay Area Bike to Wherever Days. Register online here by 10 pm 09/08/20.

THIS SESSION WILL INCLUDE ASL INTERPRETATION FOR THE HEARING IMPAIRED.
