Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Summer of Love with a summer sunset ride on Thursday, Sept. 7 at 6:00 pm. We’ll meet on Haight Street and Baker Street in front of Buena Vista park then ride through the Haight and along JFK to Ocean Beach where we’ll lock up our bikes (don’t forget your lock!), plop on the sand, watch the sunset and enjoy a best-of-the-‘60s playlist. From there we’ll pedal back through Golden Gate Park where we’ll pass the “Photosynthesis” light show at the Conservatory of Flowers and end in the Panhandle for about nine miles total. “Flower in your hair” optional.
