The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition and SF Urban Riders are hosting a trail ride in McLaren Park this summer. Join us on this slow-paced ride to bring our community together to explore the wonderful trails in the Southeast of San Francisco.

We will meet at 10am near McNab Lake and the Louis Sutter Playground in McLaren Park. We’ll ride the trails that wind through the park beginning at 10:30am for around 1-1.5 hours and then break for a snack around noon at the bike park.

The trails are intermediate level, featuring packed dirt, single track, rough terrain and some switch backs. A variety of bike styles will work for this ride, including, but not limited to: mountain bikes (full-suspension or hard tail), gravel bikes, e-mountain bikes or any bike with wider tires.

After a quick snack break, for those who want to continue riding, we will head into San Bruno to ride some of the trails there starting around 12:20pm. Please note that the second portion of the ride will be intermediate-advanced level. Check the route details for the McLaren route and the San Bruno route on Strava.

Please bring water, sunscreen and plenty of snacks. Some snacks will be provided, but bring enough to sustain yourself.
