Join Safe Routes to School for a bike ride through San Francisco’s newest park on May 10th from 12:30pm-1:30 pm. We will meet at Francis Scott Key at 12:30 pm and we will ride about 4 miles down the former Great Highway and then back to Francis Scott Key Elementary (route map included here).
This ride is suitable for all ages and biking abilities and will focus on building comfort and confidence in urban cycling. On this ride participants will learn essential skills for navigating city streets (and car-free spaces) safely while enjoying the experience of riding as a family. The ride includes stops for tips on bike handling, road safety, and teamwork. Connect with other folks who ride bikes and our city’s newest park!
