Walk to Work Day is a celebration — and more. The day is about noticing what it’s like to walk in San Francisco, and what would make it better. Whether you usually commute on BART or the bus, or by driving or biking, your trip still starts and ends with walking. Walk to Work Day is about recognizing that we are all pedestrians. We all benefit from streets that are safe and comfortable for people in wheelchairs and on foot.
