Thursday, January 18, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Event Navigation

On Thursday, Jan. 18, join the Marin Museum of Bicycling for an evening of exploring local wildlife! If you ride or hike on Mt Tam, you may have noticed motion-activated wildlife cameras, and wondered who put them there and how the information is used. Meet Janet Klein (MMWD) Lisette Arellano (One Tam) and Gina Farr (Project Coyote) and find out! These three presenters will share updates about One Tam’s work to study and support wildlife, insights from the Wildlife Camera project and tips on living alongside coyotes and our other wild neighbors.
One Tam is a partnership of the four land agencies on Mt. Tam—California State Parks, Marin County Parks, Marin Municipal Water District, and the National Park Service—and the nonprofit Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. One Tam is working to protect the incredible ecosystems and visitor resources that we have on the mountain, and provide youth and community programs that will inspire our next generation of land stewards.
Tickets are $10 per adult ($8 for seniors 65+, $5 for students and Marin Museum of Bicycling members). Tickets can be purchased in advance at the museum (11-5 Thursdays-Sundays) and online here through Eventbrite. There will be a limited number at the door the evening of the event. Advance purchase is recommended. All proceeds benefit the Marin Museum of Bicycling. Not a member yet? Need to Renew? It’s easy, just click/tap here.
