Workshop: Trails Courtesy on the Coast*
Saturday, April 7, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
This workshop is a bike/horse familiarization opportunity. Bicyclists can learn how to best ride near a horse. Horses will have a chance to get familiar with bikes before encountering them in the wild. Learn how hikers, trail runners, dog walkers, mountain bike riders and horses can all interact when meeting on the trails within State, County or GGNRA Coastside lands. Equestrians are welcome to bring their horses to desensitize them to bikes.
Equestrians should meet at the Ember Ridge Equestrian Center. All non-Equestrian participants should meet at Etheldore Street entrance at 8:30am and head over to stables area (10 min walk or 5-10 min ride or run to stables).
Participants 8-18 years old with a parent and all people ages 18 and older are welcome. A signed waiver is required for all active participants.
