Each July, local bike shops go head to head to see who can bring the biggest boost to our advocacy by recruiting new and renewing members to the SF Bicycle Coalition.
This year 11 shops have joined in the competition. The grand prize goes to the shop that recruits the most members in July. They’ll win an opportunity to join us as the official wrenchers at New Belgium Brewing’s Tour de Fat, a free (and fun!) bike and music festival in Golden Gate Park on Saturday, September 19!

When you join or renew at one of these participating bike shops this July, you’ll be entered into a raffle to win a free SF Bicycle Coalition t-shirt! Plus – you can use your SF Bicycle Coalition member discounts right there at the shop and let your membership pay for itself. Current members receive discounts at 70+ businesses across San Francisco.
