Come and witness live tattooing at the Asian Art Museum! In conjunction with the Tattoo exhibition, "Tattoos in Japanese prints," visitors can see this complex and fascinating art-form demonstrated by some of the Bay Area’s finest tattoo artists. Watch as guest tattoo artists Taki Kitamura, Horitomo, Mary Joy Scott and Colin Stevens inscribe original designs — inspired by works in the museum’s collection — on live models using electric and hand-engraving techniques.
