Learn what it takes to join an advisory committee from the following panelists:

• Melyssa Mendoza (SF Bicycle Advisory Committee)
• Cliff Bargar (Caltrain Bicycle Advisory Committee, Eastern Neighborhoods Citizens Advisory Committee)
• Danielle Thoe (SFCTA Citizens Advisory Committee)

Hear from each of the panelists about what inspired them to join an advisory committee, how they received their appointment, what they’ve accomplished in their respective roles and what advice they would give to someone who is interested in joining an advisory committee.

The panel will present from 1pm – 2pm. Afterwards, from 2pm – 2:30pm, there will be an optional virtual meet and greet for SF Bicycle Coalition members who already serve on different committees.
