Coffee Club Recap: Women Bike SF talks family biking, safety and more

Huge thanks to the 15+ people from neighborhoods far and near got together this morning for our monthly Women Bike SF* Coffee Club! The patio at Sextant Coffee Roasters was packed with bikes and lively conversation about the joys of cycling and how to get more women on bikes.

This morning’s topics at Coffee Club included biking with family, bicycle education, road safety and what to do when there’s a crash. If you’re longing for more chatter about these topics, we’ve got plenty of other opportunities to fuel your fire. Our free resources range from youth Youth and Family programs to Bicycle Education workshops, from crash checklists to a Women Biking and the Law workshop. The goal is to connect more women to what they want and need to get rolling.

If you want to join the conversation, have more ideas about how to get more women on bikes, or just crave some good coffee like us, join us for an upcoming Women Bike SF event! We head to different cafes across San Francisco each month.

*Women Bike SF is an SF Bicycle Coalition program that aims to encourage and inspire more women, trans* and female identified individuals to ride bikes with social events, rides and workshops.
