Sign-up by Friday for International Walk & Roll to School Day

There’s no better time to start a positive habit with your children than this year’s Walk & Roll to School Day. Studies show walking improves not only your children’s health, but also their academic performance. Plus, the event is a ton of fun! This year’s celebration is Wednesday, October 7: Sign your school up today!

Last year, a record-breaking 84 schools and 14,000 students across San Francisco participated in this fun, citywide event. This year, you can join the growing Walk & Roll to School Day movement – let’s make this year’s event even bigger!

It’s easy and fun to organize a Walk & Roll to School Day event at your child’s school. Parents, teachers and school staff can view the list of participating schools and sign up your school on the Safe Routes to School website. The deadline to register is this Friday, September 18. All schools that register by the deadline will receive free posters to help promote Walk & Roll to School Day, as well as guidance and support in hosting their event.

Don’t miss out on FREE giveaways from the Safe Routes to School Partnership: sign up your school today.
